Colours of the Rainbow.

I seem to have been knitting in bright colours throughout the winter. I think it reminded me of Spring and Summer flowers to come.
When I was a child, I can remember that winters were really cold and summers very hot. Nowadays, we seem to have very temperate seasons with nothing very definite between them.
I keep changing from warm woollies to lighter things and back, so I never really know what to wear or what to expect from one day to the next.
Keeps us guessing.
However, it is officially Summertime!
I like that!

Oh Maggie, that is beautiful. Made me smile just to look at it.

I'm working on a few pieces. Knitting is balm for my soul.

Beautiful colors....
(And the seasonal temperature changes are about the same here in the southern USA....not much change from winter to summer.)
PS I love the way you all spell "colour"..... :)

What a bright and cheery blanket. I've been knitting a lot recently to stop me snacking while I watch TV. Have made about 30 hats and matching socks to donate to hospitals for neo-natals. In fact, that would make a good post. Watch this space.....

What a pretty afghan! I can barely knit using the same ball of yarn, so how you can get all those colors is pretty impressive to me. The same weather is happening here in the Midwest US: one week is warm, almost summer-like, and the next it's cold again. I usually put away my winter sweaters in April, but I'm afraid if I do, it will turn cold again:)

Lovely! I wish I could knit (or crochet.) My mother was a knitter as is one of my daughters. I learned to sew from my grandmother, so sewing is my handicraft of choice.

Very cheerful and pretty! Love all those bright colours - it does look like spring.
We're in the middle of a very rainy period after a snowfall April 1st (looked like April Fool's joke). February was much warmer, but we can't argue with Mother Nature!

Hang in there - spring flowers will soon be here!
Hugs

The clock may have officially changed to summertime, but the weather isn't co-operating. No sign of summer yet, However, spring is starting to peep at us from around the corner.

Wait, it's only April - how is it officially summertime? Beautiful quilt, though.
